POLICY / CANCELLATIONS

Reservations cannot be made on-site for the same day. Please contact us before coming.

Saturdays and other summer days fill up quickly. To avoid disappointment, reserve online or call us at 418-520-7238.

We hit the water whether it’s raining, snowing or perfectly sunny! Anyways, regardless of the weather, you’re going to get wet!

The equipment we lend you will keep you comfortable throughout the trip.

Refunds will not be given due to weather conditions.

 

If you are late and miss the start time, the activity will not be refunded.

Please arrive at the specified time to avoid delays and to keep the number of people at the main building to a minimum. The current situation means we need to operate as efficiently as possible before and after the start times, therefore late arrivals will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who arrives after their start time. In this case, the total amount is non-refundable.

It is strictly prohibited to consume, carry or be under the influence of drugs or illicit substances. It is also prohibited to be under the influence of alcohol while on the water. Any violation of these rules could lead to expulsion from the site without notice and without reimbursement.

We understand that plans change and we will try to accommodate your wishes whenever possible. The following are the terms of our cancellation policy:

Reservations at the regular price or for regular clientele

  • If you cancel more than 72 hours before the start time of your trip, your deposit will be refunded, minus a $5 management fee per person. 
  • If you call between 72 and 24 hours before the start time of your trip, we will do our best to reschedule your reservation for another day. If we can’t find a date, the deposit of 40% will be lost. Extra money already paid will be given back.
  • No refund of the entire invoice within less than 24 hours. We can offer the option to pay a fee of $45 + tax per person to be able to move your reservation within the same season.
  • The day of your trip, no refund available if you miss, or if you’re late for the trip.

Private or corporate group

  • According to the terms and conditions of your reservation agreement.
  • A 72-hour notice before the start of your expedition is required to obtain a refund of your deposit, less a $5 per person handling fee.
  • Within 72 to 24 hours before the start of your expedition, we will attempt to move your reservation to a later date if possible. If no other date can be found by the end of the season, any amount paid will be refunded less a $5 per person plus $120 handling fee.
  • Before 16 hours before the start of your package with us, call us, and we will attempt to move your reservation to a later date if possible. If no other date can be found by the end of the season, the 40% deposit is non-refundable. Any excess amount previously paid will be refunded.
  • On the day of your shipment, if you are absent or late and miss the departure, 100% of the invoice is non-refundable.

To move a booking

In all cases, a booking can only be moved once within 72 hours or less before departure. Our terms only apply to the first date chosen. The 40% or 100% deposit will then be forfeited if you are unable to show up.
